SIGGRAPH 2011: Disney and Autodesk Sign 5-Year Agreement for XGen

Gadgehit writes: "Walt Disney Pictures have signed a 5-year exclusivity agreement with Autodesk for their XGen Arbitrary Primitive Generator technology (XGen), used most recently by Walt Disney Animation Studios in the hit animated film “Tangled.” The software allows animators to quickly and easily create hair, fur or vegetation and more on surfaces."
