With over 500 million users, it makes sense that advertisers find venues such as Facebook to be excellent places for advertisement. Since the year 2008, there has been about a thirty percent increase in advertisement spending on social networking sites yearly.
Sorry, it's a huge pet peeve of mine when websites use out of date statistics.
Sorry but I have to correct this article by saying Facebook has 750 million members now, not 500 million. Granted it said "over 500 million" but there is a pretty big difference between 500 million and 750 million...
Anyway I really enjoyed the info-graphic, it's no wonder why Google is trying really hard with Google+.
