A Czech bloke has managed to get hold of a Bulldozer engineering sample and run it through its paces.
Is this like a 3 line news post? Seems like the writer has no clue what he's writing about and hence no opinion. :/
Well reporting the news doesn't necessarily mean that the author has to agree or disagree, just that he is reporting it. OT: 5.1 on air is insane and expected on this new fab technology. SB can get to 5 Ghz with the right air cooling as well.. as far as I've seen these Bulldozers are just playing catch up to Intel's "mainstream" CPUs for LGA 1155. I'm starting to doubt that they could stand a chance against LGA 2011..
Maybe you should read how AOL treats its writers - http://news.cnet.com/8301-1... Small upcoming bloggers, google news and the dominance of Social Media is keeping Big Sites from generating the same amount of traffic or revenues as they used to, coupled with the fact that the economy is in the initial stages of recovery. Low wages and deadlines is commonplace if you're writing or free lancing for big publishers.
I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying that this particular journalist just decides to not write subjective content for a news post. I think that feedback from the writer is good and welcomed but it's not mandatory. Also this is the only "news" source for these benchmarks as Newsboiler guidelines says to not link to blogs as the article URL.
