Can Last.FM really get more social?

Recently it was announced that Last.FM, one of the worlds largest music social networks, wants to become more social in order to compete with other social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter.

There are different ways in which Last.FM can make this happen, but AshleyPearson.Net feels that this is going to be limited. This is of course our own opinion, but we think there will be some who agree.
