Apple had to reduced 1st quarter production for the iPad 2 by approximately 50%, taking them from between “400,000 and 600,000 units to between 300,000 and 400,000 units. Why? Apparently Apple is forced to deal with display panel shortages, as well as an in house decision to have a last minute spec change. We did not and don’t want to hear that everyone won’t be able to get one at launch.
This sucks, i hope it's not true, all the local sellers will grab them and would sell the $499 (If Theres 1) for like $800 like last time.
Isn't it another Apple marketing trick... by making everybody 'hungry' of the new device they will probably sell more units... hmmm very suspicious lol
I think there will ample supply of the iPad 2, the iPad 3 is rumored to be the "big redesign"
