TekGoblin:
Okay so Geohot (George Hotz) was sued by Sony for hacking the PlayStation 3 and releasing the root keys out to the web. So what! Everyone is against him and his legal battle with Sony, saying that he deserves it. I have got news for you guys, Geohot has never condoned or supported piracy or hacking on the PSN network. He does however support the ability to hack YOUR OWN equipment that you have purchased legally and therefore releases tools to do so.
Sony's preorder routine is slightly different this time around.
With BMW, Sony Honda and Ram revealing EV plans, cars dominated CES 2023
According to a recent statement by Sony, it has sold out around 25 million PlayStation 5 consoles.
If he creates the possibility to do it, then he is thus indirectly supporting the possibility of hacking. He knows very well there is the potential for it to happen, so why make everyone's lives turn into a hell hole of hackers. I hate playing games where some douchebag cheater comes in and tries to use his silly aimbot tricks to win the game.
WPA is a Wireless Security standard. Not Windows, Sorry for not making that clear.
~ "Should we fear hackers? Intention is at the heart of this discussion."
~ "Are hackers a threat? The degree of threat presented by any conduct, whether legal or illegal, depends on the actions and intent of the individual and the harm they cause."
lets put it this way, everyone is attacking this lil sh!t because he gave other hackers the tools to mess up psn. to steal confidential info from psn. to mess up the multiplayer. if Hotz wanted linux so badly, he couldve hacked it, and loaded in for himself and kept it to himself. instead he goes ahead and publishes SONYs security key. property that doesnt belong to him at all.
the way hotz talks is like sony sold us all a broken console and he is trying to fix it for us all and sony is wrong for suing him. delusional F&^ker!!
well its because they're blind simpletons
