Although Sony Ericsson has announced that they are "sticking to Android," that does not mean that Sony Ericsson will not look for other OS opportunities. The company is looking to launch not 1, but a couple different versions of Sony Ericsson phones that will be for Windows 7 in 2011. Sony is looking to launch more smart phones in 2011 than they did in 2010 ( 3 to be exact in 2010, not counting different colors).
And, for once, some of what it can do looks genuinely useful.
The blog post reads, “We’re introducing a new WhatsApp app for Windows that loads faster and is built with an interface similar to the app's mobile version.”
Since the middle of February, customers of AMD graphics cards have been reporting situations in which Windows installations were entirely bricked after installing new drivers.
