Android police - The first of Notion Ink’s Adam tablets are arriving in the hands of consumers today – and it sounds like things aren’t going as smoothly as Notion Ink would like.
SlashGear - For those seeking an alternative custom ROM to boost speed and improve user interface of the Viewsonic GTab, there’s some good news. Developers over at XDA have successfully ported over a portion of Notion Ink ‘s Eden firmware.
Engadget: We don't see it in the FCC database yet but Notion Ink's charming Rohan Shravan just penned a post on the company's blog with news that Adam has official clearance from the US government. That's right, after several delays the tiny startup will finally condense its occasionally vapory molecules into a solid slab of shipping tablet starting "around Wednesday" after the hardware receives its FCC tattoo.
Android Police: Red tape seems to be getting in the way of Notion Ink’s plans to ship initial pre-order customers’ Adam tablets today. An email sent to us by one of those pre-order customers this morning indicates that it is the FCC’s certification process which has put the brakes on the Adam’s release.
