Apart from a few "patches" to the previously identified vulnerabilities in its software products, Microsoft this week released an update for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, called KB976902. This update is necessary to successfully install and uninstall Service Pack, periodically issued by the Redmond company, and its yield suggests that the release of Service Pack 1 for the two operating systems is not far off.
