Engadget: If you've been closely following Meizu, chances are you would've heard about the wild M9 launch across China from just a few days ago.
MIC Gadget - With Google set to release the Android 4.0 source code, there will be a mad rush from ODM’s like Huawei, Meizu, and other second tier companies to produce devices for the global market. Today, Meizu CEO Jack Wong quietly mentioned on his forum that the Meizu M9 and the upcoming Meizu MX will get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Ali Waqas: There is always a lot happening when it comes to Android development and hacking. Lately we have seen some awesome NAND stuff doing rounds for the HD2 and today some developers at XDA have managed to port a complete Meizu M9 build on their HTC EVO 4G.
Engadget: Pretty impressive, isn't it? Meizu sure has made a wise decision to launch its M9 Android Froyo phone on the first day of 2011 which, like most other countries, happens to be a public holiday in China.
