Webmail? He must be joking. Either use Gmail/custom DNS for custom email URLs or MS Outlook .. end of story
Haven't used outlook since I left the corporate world.
I use a mixture of both. On the go I usually just check in with Gmail, but at home/office I usually use Thunderbird.
My college uses it, I think its good.
