Upcoming Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 card to support WHDI streaming courtesy of Amimon

Engadget: Most of what we're seeing on the WHDI front has to do with getting basic HD video playback off of the laptop or out of the den and onto the TV, but video games are people too -- don't they deserve the same treatment? Galaxy seems to think so, and it's building Amimon's WHDI tech into its upcoming Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 WHDI Edition video card.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti vs. GTX 460 1GB - at the same clocks

HEXUS: NVIDIA's release of the GeForce GTX 560 Ti on January 25 marks the introduction of the 5-series GPU architecture this side of £200. Combing through the specifications of the new card shows that, really, its design is akin to a GeForce GTX 460 on some Balco steroids.

Knowing that the GTX 460 GPU's specifications have been set very conservatively and that most can run at the 822MHz/4,008MHz clocks of the GTX 560 Ti with nothing more than a quick dabble in an overclocking program, we set out to investigate just how a Ti 560-clocked GTX 460 1GB would perform. Doing so provides a good indication of architecture-to-architecture differences and will, we hope, give present GTX 460 owners an informed opinion on whether an upgrade is necessary.

BmR: MSI N460GTX HAWK Video Card Review

Benchmark Reviews: The slew of NVIDIA GTX 460 video cards that hit the market in the last month was impressive. Everybody wanted as much of the pie as they could get, which was not surprising given the level of performance that the GTX460 offers for the cost. On almost every level, the GTX 460 was a game-changer for Fermi. Some vendors weren't satisfied with putting a label on the reference design, and MSI is one of them. The N460GTX HAWK that Benchmark Reviews is looking at today is a brand new board design with advanced features no one else can match. They also adapted their Twin Frozr II cooling design for the HAWK, and bumped up the heatpipe count to four. To top it all off, the new version of MSI Afterburner can control voltage levels for three diferent subsystems. This could be the GTX460 that all the hard core overclockers have been waiting for.
