Pocket-Lint: Along with its phenomenally expensive 645D - a snip at just £10,000 - Pentax also confirmed the launch of the K-5 at the Photokina show in Cologne.
Based on the K-7, the new interchangeable lens digital SLR camera will cost £1199.99 and comes with an 18-55mm WR kit lens. It also boasts a new high-speed, low-noise CMOS 16.28 effective megapixels image sensor with the company's PRIME II imaging engine.
The Pentax’s full-frame dSLR debut, the K-1, hits at an opportune time. Canon for couple of years now, hasn’t updated its 6D or 5D Mark III , nor has Nikon done so with its D750 or D610 . Which makes a new model at an aggressive price a welcome development .
Engadget: Pentax's K-5 DSLR has been around for a little while now, but it's only just recently received enough reviews to establish something of a critical consensus.
Photography Blog - The Pentax Optio RS1000 is a well-specified entry-level compact camera with a clever twist - its front panel can be personalised with your own photographs or illustrations, potentially making every RS1000 unique.
