No.. the point of this hard drive is that it is the first EXTERNAL hard drive to be 1.5T. There are already 1.5T internal hard drives and they even go up to 2TB.

I've must of missed that, I never seen 1.5 TB or higher internal 2.5" HDD. 3" yes, but not 2.5".

I've been on the hunt for a 1.5 TB 2.5" internal hdd since Christmas of 2009 and couldn't find one available to the general public.... so please, do tell where you've seen them.
