Nokia chief pleas for end to speculation on his departure

HELSINKI: Nokia chief executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo called on Thursday for an end to speculation about his departure, saying rumours he would soon be asked to leave were hurting the company.

"There has been a lot of speculation on my position, on myself, during the last couple of weeks and that is not good for Nokia and must be brought to an end one way or another," Kallasvuo told CNBC television Thursday.
