Intel has released its fastest dual-core Core i3 laptop processor to PC makers and apparently Dell and Hewlett-Packard have bought shedloads.
The Core i3-370m will run at 2.4GHz and include 3MB of cache. Already HP have announced that its Pavilion dv6t is selling with the new chip inside.

Last Friday, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger told CNBC he thinks the chip shortage will last into 2024.
