Hypocrisy aside, Microsoft does have a point. As the article states...

OK so at least Microsoft isn’t trying to force people into switching from Google to Bing, like the child who other kids are forced to hang out with because otherwise he’d have no friends. No, in what at first appeared to be a laughable claim, Microsoft appears to be making a genuinely legitimate complaint that the public is unaware of just how much of the internet Google (or should we say “the unnamed dominant search provider”?) controls."

Monopolies aren't illegal. Just companies that abuse their power. Like MS that has been convicted multiple times.
