Sony has finally begun making money on its PlayStation 3 console and expects its game business to turn a profit this year, the company said Thursday.

I'll admit, I was skeptical of the success potential of the console in the beginning. The price was prohibitive and it was packed full of unproven technology. But Sony stuck with it and is now seeing the results. It's a great story.
