Flying cars will be in the air within five years, CEO of Larry Page-backed firm says

Flying cars could be in the air within five years, the chief executive of Kitty Hawk, a company backed by Alphabet CEO Larry Page, told CNBC on Monday.

Sebastian Thrun added that an announcement is due in March about the next stages of the project.

I didn't read the story but I suspect by that time, they won't allow users to manually control their cars under normal circumstances. Way too much of a hazard. We can't even get it right on the ground.
