Is Facebook doing enough to stop private gun sales?

Firearms are still readily available on Facebook despite recent promises to crack down.

gizmig2921d ago

I don't think so. Because many people still selling guns on Facebook.

007Tech2921d ago

facebook is doing everything...but those smugglers use multiple ids so it isn't that easy for fb to stop these bullshits

gizmig2921d ago

Well that might be the case but they should get a bit more serious to make some efforts in this area so they can stop private sellers to sell guns.

007Tech2920d ago

Yeah.. Bt these guys are more smarter than facebook... They may be using vpns or anything or hired some professionals to do illegal stuffs

gizmig2920d ago

Come on! Seriously? Are they really smart enough?

EXTREMETECH2920d ago

yes 007 is right they are really very smart enough in that place! these professionals can be easily found anywhere and put up with right resources and techs so then can keep up with these bullshits!

EXTREMETECH2920d ago

facebook must do one person one id so that would decrease the amounts of smuggle! but thats not too easy but they can put up for each mobile number one id can be made to use!

gizmig2920d ago

They already have this feature of each mobile number will be associated with only one phone number.
