Not to mention gaming.
It's better to pit it against Microsoft Surface.
I'd like to see Apple back up its claims about the amount of PC users switching to the iPad. Can it compete with a Surface or Surface Pro? no if course it can't. Why would I switch from a PC to a glorified iPad and hope that there are some watered down app versions of the full Windows programs I used when I can buy a Surface and run those full programs? With more 2-in-1 devices becoming available the iPad becomes less relevant and its OS more dated.
Simply no. The iPad is great but when it comes down to it it's a large iPhone without the phone hardware. It cannot compete with a tablet such as Surface Pro 4 that can be ran as a tablet or a PC.
Surface Pro will always win. If Apple honestly thought they could win this then they are delusional. They needed to follow Microsoft and have osX and iOS on the same device.
