The US and France aren't too far behind in terms of being cashless. Sweden is smaller and is more developed. To be completely cashless one needs a bank account and internet. A lot of people still don't have that combo.
In the US, Chase Bank (the biggest bank) doesn't accept cash deposits unless you are on the account. So I do see eventually going that route.
That wont fly so well over here and im personally against the idea as I dont keep all of my money In one place as that would be stupid.
