The future of travel? A tube called Hyperloop

Two years after unveiling plans for a futuristic, high-speed Hyperloop transportation system, Musk has now announced plans for building a test track in southern California and a competition for prototype pods.

Futurama was the first thing that came to mind but going nearly 800 miles per hour with a large group of people able to ride at once is a lot better and more practical, lol.

This was especially interesting seeing as I live in southern California and it's only 3 years (or so) away.

It's 100 percent solar powered and can travel really fast with very little energy
The Hyperloop would be safer, faster, lower cost and more convenient as per they mentioned in their blog post.....
