Earlier this year, it was revealed that a new company was working on a 2 in 1 tablet which ran a skinned version of Android 4.4.2 called Remix OS. Jide is a company which was founded in 2014 by three ex-Google employees who couldn’t ”stand the drawbacks of the tablets and laptops on the market today” and wanted to create a product which was great for both productivity and everyday use to fill the void.
The device itself is a 11.6″ Full HD screened tablet which comes with a magnetic keyboard and metal kickstand, which looks rather like that of the Microsoft Surface, looking to revolutionize the 2 in 1 form factor. Under the hood of this tablet you’ll find a huge 8100mAh battery, 64GB of storage, a Tegra 4 SoC and 2GB of RAM, all of which are solid specs especially when it comes to this things battery life. The Tegra 4 chip is power efficient and that massive battery should bring all-day use of the Ultra Tablet.
