Google: Strong net neutrality rules won’t hurt the future rollout of Google Fiber

After announcing a major expansion of its high-speed Internet service, Google said Tuesday it will continue to pour money into new broadband networks even if federal regulators adopt strong net neutrality rules designed to thwart Internet providers that may want to speed up or slow down certain Web sites over others.

Thank you, Google.

This is just a power play from Comcast, Time Warner and "all the world's worst actors" as Mitt Romney might have said. Net neutrality does nothing to make it more difficult to expand networks. It does, however, keep a level playing field for big and small Internet business. Like we've always had.
