Alienware has been a major manufacturer of gaming laptops for the past two decades and the company continues to impress with it's latest offerings. Recently I was able to get my hands on the Alienware 15.
Dell has launched the upgraded version of their Alienware 17 R4 for the year 2017. It starts at $1,299.99 and it goes all the way up to $3,118.99.
can anyone explain to me why dell alienware machines are more expensive than other gaming laptops like ASUS and gigabyte of the same spec? do they not all use the same parts inside.

Hopefully there'll be a good review out of these soon to see just how well it handles VR and which headsets.
$1300+ entry level price is just ridiculous.
Still can't get excited for VR, I'll get it, test it out and have my fun,... For a while,... but it'll never be as big as the hype of it has become.
