A Google spokesperson told TechRadar that production of the Nexus 5 smartphone has officially come to an end, warning prospective buyers that "once they are gone, they're gone, so we'd suggest people get them while they can". The low-key announcement came around just as Google pulled the plug on the smartphone's red and white versions, leaving only the black one for sale. Pretty soon, the super-sized Nexus 6 will be the only Nexus smartphone you can buy new.
When the July 2016 security update rolled out to Nexus 5 devices, users began experiencing an array of volume related bugs. For some, in-call volume adjustment went kaput, others experienced an inability to mute apps, and a few even had all of their phone’s volume sliders drop just to the point of barely being audible.
The Google-acknowledged issue is known to be affecting the Nexus Player, Nexus 6P, and the Nexus 5X.
Google is going to announce 2 nexus phones later this year, and we can't help but grasp all the leaks and rumors.
