Former HTC Corp. President of Global Emerging Devices Mike Woodward said he departed the Taiwanese smartphone maker for a senior role in mobile services at Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN)
Woodward, who joined HTC in 2012 from AT&T Inc. (T), left the struggling devices maker within the past 45 days, he said in a phone interview. He started at the Seattle-based online retailer this month.
