The YouTube effect is already making its way across Twitch as they quickly try to shape up their service to meet the ‘needs’ of its new owners. Users are reporting that sections of their videos are being muted because song used in videos were not properly licensed according to their copyright agreements. Those who use YouTube frequently will know about their much harsher system which can result in videos being removed entirely without any proper assessment of the situation.
According to Bloomberg, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan has expressed concern regarding the potential misuse of platform content by OpenAI’s Sora, an AI-driven video creation tool.
