Surely these would both reduce road traffic and carbon emissions from the vans which would deliver otherwise?

Bureaucracy, alongside health and safety getting in the way of progress tsk tsk.

They could at least give Amazon the benefit of the doubt and let them fly provided they manage to achieve a good safety record.
