Yelpers will soon be able to supplement their reviews with short video clips when using Yelp's mobile app.Videos will be between three and 12 seconds long and are meant to complement reviews, not be act as their own standalone assessments.
Yelp is in the process of adding hygiene scores to its popular restaurant ratings. The site announced that beginning today, July 24, it’s starting to feature these scores alongside reviews, photos, and other information for the locations

Yelp and Nowait announced a partnership that will enable Yelp users to check nearby restaurants’ wait times and “get in line” remotely from the Yelp app. Yelp will be making an $8 million strategic investment as part of the partnership, which was announced as part as Yelp’s 2Q earnings release yesterday.
