Why the plastic body of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is its secret weapon

Some Samsung Galaxy fans were hoping the S5 would get a swanky aluminum body befitting its flagship status. It didn't happen -- but that's a good thing. Here's why.

"Why the Backpanel is Samsung Galaxy 5's Secret Weapon"

Fixed. There's no reason they couldn't have done the same thing without going so cheap with the materials.

So they couldn't think of a metal body and screw covers? The reason I stay away from Samsung phones is because it feels and look cheap.

meh, I prefer a metal body.

Who cares if it's metal or plastic? Hahaha. If you are buying a smart phone based on the external material of the backplate... you probably shouldn't be buying a smart phone. That is absurd.

I've had two iPhones (3S & 4S), a Galaxy S, S2, S3 and now an S4... without a doubt, the S4 is the best phone I've ever owned or used.

S5's 'minor' upgrades are more than enough reason for this to be my next phone. You can make the backplate out of styrofoam for all I care, as long as it works like the S4.
