HardwarePal : We might be seeing an 8K Monitor with a massive 7680×4320 Resolution going mainstream . Right now even 4K isn’t mainstream because of the pricing and it already seems to *kill* graphic processing units of current gen. But BEO Technology a chinese manufacturer says otherwise.
If you are willing to buy Apple’s Thunderbolt display monitor from their official store then you must hurry because once their sales run out, Apple will not sell it anymore.
According to 9to5 Mac’s sources, stock of the current Thunderbolt display is drying up. That’s typically a sign that Apple intends to launch an imminent product update, and that’s where things start to get interesting.
The technology giant files a patent for displays that can be ripped apart to share information.
wow 4k tvs havent been adopted and now this and no real content for either
God I can already see the crappy 8K displays at CES next year.
Why stop at 8k, why not 16k, or 32k? Oh, right, you need content first because without content, you just have a really expensive screen that will make 1080p content look worse than your current set up. Yay! Sign me up for that....can't wait to make my blu rays look mediocre!
No point.
They'll probably just waste the technology on 37 inch televisions again, which basically renders the resolution pointless.
