After Android and iOS, I love to use Firefox OS it looks awesome :) in review

Why would I go to a mobile OS that has barely any app support? Exception being Windows phone and maybe Ubuntu.

Android didn't launch with a plethora of apps. You just need to give them time to harness their potentials. Android is already boring and with the way things are happening in the mobile world, it won't last the test of time like Symbian and Blackberry OS

Android is boring? What do you want from it? To take you to space? It's one of the most versatile OSs on the market to date.

This is in response to your lower post. Android is on its way to becoming google's social network. Or their government extortion list to be more precise. Google play is now google+ app store and YT is now Google+ videos. All of them are monitored and are forcing you to use your real name. They are even taking your account information and populating google+ profiles with it. I am a former Android fanboy. I will be switching over to Windows phone. After their censoring and nazi-style takeover of YT it was the last straw.

I sincerely hope Google goes the way of the dodo but since they are a valuable third party spy agency for the government any financial troubles will be "covered". But one can hope.

Well forcing would be the wrong would since you do have the option to use your old name on YouTube. I think most people don't read the option and just accept it for what it is.

Also, trying to be middle ground here but wouldn't a more unified experience play out better in the long run in terms of useability?

As for government spying and what not, if the government wants information from anyone, they will get it. Either they be forced to shut down or give in (e.g. the case where Lavabit shut down and they still had to answer to the government).

But I see your point. Windows is a decent option if they continue to develop it (given MS's shaky future). As for the others, I'm not quick to jump the train to be a trendsetter because I bought a smart phone with a capable OS because of the plethora of things in can do from a default and third party perspective. Heh, if Apple was a little more innovative I might have gone their way :P

That was the past. you are now forced to have a google+ account. Any and all gmail accounts are now also google+ accounts. Its hard to believe I know. You thought America was a free country? WAS is the key word.

Unified? Yes but I hate social networks...I ran away from FB because of the way it ruins relationships. YT was good fun now its the same thing. You cant even dislike videos because someone's feelings might be hurt...and now its Google+ videos. I quit YT as of yesterday I am now only on Twitter. Until the P-C army invades and takes that over as well. I will be switching over to Windows phone asap. I don't see windows as to shaky especially with their acquisition of Nokia...

I just wan't the Lumia 1020...
One word, camera...
wont buy it till there is a Red 64.gb version available in my country but I will.
I have been messing about with Android for years now and I got my hands on Lumia because I wanted to try the Windows 8 OS and all I have to say is that it's fine. It's very simple and runs buttery smooth on a low budget Lumia 620 and even though I don't have as many options as I did with android I don't miss any of them.
