I dont get the interest , besides a more durable and scratch protected screen . Why would i want a curved screen ? But then again there are lots of trend i find baffling , like Phablets when everyone wanted something small initially , and when there are tablets . Or tiny watches that are useless without those huge phones synched to it .

So i'm sure it will have a public and success

Phablets Lol! I hate them! I remember when the iPhone was announced, everybody thought it had huge screen and it was overall big. Now, even the Iphone 5S is one of the smallest. I don't get why anyone would buy a phone like Galaxy Note, they are just too big.

After buying my Samsung Galaxy S4, I enjoyed it 2-weeks.. I had always craved from 5.0 inch display but these days I know better.. A phone ought to be friendly to the pocket and easy to carry. I barely use the phone now because the phones looks too big.. A phabet? lol.. Won't even give it the slightest consideration.

Us old folks need bigger screens to see. My wife has the Note 2 and that thing is amazing. It is really easy to see, and the battery last for two days easy.

It all comes down to preference my friend I have the note 2 and absolutely love it I've had the helio ocean g2 lg g2x and now note 2 and I must say its absolutely the best phone I've owned so far Yes its big but after having it for over a year now i don't even notice it's size plus I tend to surf the Web watch videos video chat and play games so it's perfect for me and I can't stand using a smaller sized phone now

Fyi my 9 year old kid puts my Note 2, 5.5" screen and it fits fine into his front jean pocket. So I dont really buy that false excuse about them not fitting into pocket. I like it for games, movies, and def the stylus pen.

Its all personal preference. A guy at my work has an old flip phone and anything more, he finds excessive. To each thier own I guess.

Not too big for everyone. Remember there are tall people out there with big hands. I really cannot hold smaller phones properly and typing on them is awkward for my hands.

I mostly hate the following combo which is out there in the wild , some dude with :

- Galaxy S4 or Note 3
- Galaxy Gear
- some asus or galaxy tab .

Not only i feel it's overkill and redundant for the phablet+tablet part , but immensely dumb for the Watch + Huge phone combo .

And some of those have the gall of whining about me switching from an old second gen iphone , to the 5S and an ipad soon enough . The iphone is small and by no mean useful for what i'll use my ipad for , unlike any phablet .

All that's missing is a silly Monster Beats headset for the complete douche package . But hey i guess it's their money to burn , and "it's android so it's not silly like those apple fanboys and their toys " :p

By money to burn, you do know a high end iphone is $100+ more than a note 3 right? Apple products in general are always a good 25-50% more, so your money to burn comment was quite ironic. No memory cards and the high price is what really irks me about apple.

Increasing the screen from 4.5 by 1 inch really is only slighty noticeable. I mean its really not night and day like some try to make it out to be. I do agree with your watch take though.
