10 reasons why BBM for Android is overrated and can't beat WhatsApp any time soon

IBNLive- A well-received ad campaign never defines the success of a product. It doesn't even need reasons at all. WhatsApp is much better because it uses my phone number simply. WhatsApp is simple and easier to use and has more emoticons. lol :D

I think the fact that you DON'T have to give out your number is a huge win for BBM. Also you can manage who can contact you unlike Whatsapp where anyone can contact with you without pre-approval unless you block them. BBM is also way more stable in terms of up time.

Totally agree not having to give out my number and managing who contacts me is the best thing about BBM. Plus no .99 cent subscription fee.

bullshit

BBM will overtake WhatsApp.. I like the fact it's a pin an not giving out your number..

and when the voice calling is implemented early next year it's a wrap

Actually I think when Google voice and SMS/MMS are soon integrated into the Hangouts app, it will be all that is necessary, for me anyway. Not only will Google have fully fused SMS, Google Talk, and Google Voice (which now has free VOIP calling) into one app, it will be available across every Android device, iOS, *and* the desktop.

Actually, you're right Google will Crush every other messaging service out there because lets face it, it's Google. :D
