Still trying to figure out how the hell Sony can sell the PS4 for such a price... Guess we'll find out in November when REALISTIC people take apart the console and analyze it.

From what Mark Cerny explained at a developer conference, the PS4 has a very simple architecture and OS. He convinced Sony to spend a little extra money on GDDR5 RAM, which allowed for them to not use ESRAM on the chip die.

Microsoft has had problems with a lot of Xbox One chips being dead on arrival thanks to the placement of ESRAM on the same die as the CPU and GPU. The added complexity has pushed back production about two months.

Sony also has a lot of experience building their own hardware, and the PS4 is only half the weight and power draw of a PS3. That's pretty insane. They just spent less money designing and producing the console. That's why they can hit the $399 mark.

I dont get why people are getting hyped

its gonna be the hd twins mark 2. all 3rd party games will look exactly the same as it did on the ps3 and 360.

and the best of the best exclusive built from he ground up games wont compare tot he PC games.
