Vyralize: Pandora has dropped its mobile 40-hour monthly listening limit due to increased earnings from advertisements.
Music listening service Pandora saw a dramatic dip and then a dramatic 22% spike in after-hours trading Wednesday, as investors were reading the tea leaves and then learned of the royalty rate decision.

From January 1, Pandora is going to be paying more money to music labels for the songs being streamed on its platform.
With more personalization, Pandora hopes to take on Apple Music and Spotify.
