i bought an ipod and now its dead , i bought an itouch 2nd gen and now its dead , i now have an android and its going strong for 2 years

Wow that sucks. The only Apple product I've owned in an iPod 4G and it's still working. As for Android phones, I've never had one for more than two years, but I put them through extreme conditions as well.

Never had any trouble with Apple devices! My 2nd generation iPod Touch is still going strong after nearly 5 years. The battery does drain super fast though but that is expected due to the long lifespan of the device.
