I'm sure your opinion isn't remotely affected by the media, of which is trying to turn this into a race issue.

They'll frame this as a "win" or "loss" to "civil rights" depending on the outcome. They don't care what the truth is either way. Which is weird, since Zimmerman is multi-racial. I'll bet if his last name were "Hernandez" and he had a deeper tan, the media wouldn't treat this as a "black or white" issue.

Oh and of course there's the people looking for an instance to champion as an anti-conceal and carry moment. Despite the fact that fighting conceal and carry is already a dead issue, Illinois even forced to add it for constitutional reasons, but still in limbo thanks to Chicago, which thinks that it should dictate law for the entire state.

You have Trayvon Martin:
-Guilty of Graffiti
-Guilty of possession
-Likely a Thief (caught with woman's jewelry, "given by a friend"...yeah, and my dog ate my homework)
-suspended high-school student

And Zimmerman:
-Shoved a cop once
-Mutual restraining order with Ex, Ex alleging domestic violence
-very multi-racial
-Near graduating of law degree

Interviews and witness accounts are very mixed. You have absolutely no logical reason to assume that Zimmerman is guilty, nor innocent.

You had a overzealous guy and a punk, both of which probably antagonized each other and fed off of each other's antagonizing. They collided and one ended up dead and the other cut and bruised. Go figure.
