I think many people look at Glass wrong. In my opinion it is not for the population at large; regular people are not going to walk around wearing the device all day long.
It is for specific uses in the classroom, for business, sports, etc. In a broader sense it is paving the way for useful heads up displays in cars, ski goggles, and helmets.
