Discovery.com:How cool would it be if we could change the way people eat popcorn?” That’s the question that was faced by the folks at Popcorn, Indiana, purveyors of classic popcorn, kettle corn, and other varieties of the snack food. Their answer comes in the form of a popcorn-shooting robot, The Popinator, which shoots a kernel of popcorn in the air towards you, upon voice command. All you have to do is say the word “Pop,” and the Popinator serves you up popcorn the way your buddy might toss a piece to you, to catch in your mouth from across the way.
