MIC Gadget - It’s been said before that Meizu may expand towards international markets by opening retail stores worldwide. If that’s the case, it would be a big leap forward for the Zhuhai-based company to sell their flagship Android phone — Meizu MX — to international users. However, it looks like some Chinese resellers are selling the company’s new quad core smartphone at hiked up prices on Amazon. Duh.
Chinese smartphone manufacturers are very much on the ascent, but it’s been a pretty mixed bag. Some have offered some truly exciting hardware to market (read: Nexus 6P) and others, well, not so much. Founded in 2003, Meizu is relatively new entrant on the scene, but the company knows how to make a nice piece of hardware.
Engadget - The Meizu MX 4-core is a decent quad-core device, but its limited availability outside China and horrendous battery life make it a tough sell for power users.
Cnet: The Meizu MX 4-core is attractive, compact, and flaunts an Apple-like aesthetic. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a fast quad-core CPU. The phone supports nine bands plus comes with 32GB of storage.
