MakeUseOf: If you’ve not yet heard, Google plans to pull the plug on iGoogle in November 2013 in addition to a few other services like Google Video and Google Mini. Though the company have yet to announce a viable alternative for those who still use the service, comparable start pages do exist.
CNET: iGoogle isn't long for this world, but that doesn't mean that Google won't have a personalized home page for you.

but in the end of the day igoogle was and still is horrible.
iGoogle is one of the worst service from Google. I guess they are taking iGoogle down because of the very few people like us who find this feature useful.
Also I don't think these are alternatives for iGoogle, that’s just bookmarks and adverts
