We think so too if you couldn't tell.

I got the One S just over the weekend. Apparently the mid tier phone in the One line, but actually holds its own, even against the Tegra 3 version of the One X. Loving it so far. You're right about the battery life too. Pleasantly surprised there. Good review.

Thanks for the kind words! I've been very intrigued by the One S. The shear thinness of it is amazing. How do you like it thus far?

Every time I pick it up, I'm amazed at how powerful it is, yet it feels like a piece of paper. Its really, really light. The software is snappy, and while I can understand some of the qualms with Sense, I think HTC did a great job with trimming some of the fat with version 4. Its funny, everyone knows how open Android is to customization, but even with this skin, I sometimes look at all the options ans feel like I can customize it even more than a stock ROM.

hope you lucky enough to get one with working wifi.

my bro got this phone at launch at boy were we disappointed for a flagship phone to suffer from something so simple.

We didn't have any issues with ours, but we have heard frustration with many people having wifi problems. HTC has said that they know about the problem and are working on a fix.

just wanted to give an update that HTC replaced the phone at no cost to me with a fully functional model. they told me to update any firmware on my house/work routers and BAM!! back in business. works like a charm. not one issue at all.

Just wondering how you come to the 8.7/10 figure?? Shouldn't it be 8.2/10?

Good review though.
