Apple Tax or Not? Ivy Bridge Ultrabooks vs. 13" MacBook Air

Tech Spot: Earlier this week Apple announced updates to its entire notebook lineup, bringing it up to date with Ivy Bridge processors and a few other goodies. Like them, many other computer manufacturers have been showcasing new and updated laptops over the past few days and weeks at trade events like Computex as key partners including Intel, AMD and Nvidia roll out their latest and greatest products.

I dont get why people are subjecting themselves to rubbish specs.

Imo there is no need to upgrade a relatively new pc (2-5 years) unless its for gaming and intensive applications, like serious video editing.

as long as you treat it right and maintain it it should be good for everything

if people like this did not exist, we would have 4.0ghz cpu speeds that didnt generate so much heat, 16gb ram would be standard and everything would be affordable.

people like this prevent advances in the world, companies have the tools to create these things but they slow the pace down to make more money,
