I doubt this bill could be approved as is. They would still have to make it more flexible to allow some time of trolling, since most of it is in good nature.

ChrisW4821d ago

I can only imagine there being thousands of trolls in Arizona alone... I'm certain that they will only go after the ones who really go out of their way to troll.

Besides, we have all trolled someone at least once.

RonyDean4823d ago

Guess it's time for me to move...

1Victor4823d ago

Brooklyn NY waits you fellow trollers

fatstarr4822d ago

Team NY all over techspy. lol I hope this bill is a serious attempt at trolling tho

Soldierone4821d ago

If the Coyotes end up leaving, I have absolutely no will to stay in this state anymore lol....

Syko4823d ago

Hometown Pride...Right here.

Speed-Racer4823d ago

Does this mean you can't tell me crap over the intercom anymore?

1Victor4823d ago

All jk aside I see that law passing and spreading in one for or another all over the U.S because of that gay guy that killed himself after been recorded by bis roommate. BTW he was found guilty of all 14 accounts .
You all know that is BS that most trolling is harmless all trolling is made to offend and psychologically hurt the other person and if you think otherwise you're a internet n00b

Syko4822d ago

It's really taking everything I have, not to abuse my power and mark ALL comments left here as trolling.

XD

Lord_Sloth4822d ago

lol Stupid Arizona. Wonder if that means I could be punished for it by trolling some1 from Arizona even though I'm in Georgia...

BrutallyBlunt4822d ago

Just goes to show how far down the ladder society has come where the government needs to step in all the time. Is it really too much to ask of people to act maturely and appropriately? Take away the anonymity of the internet and most of this crap would go away.

Kos-Mos4822d ago

Why don`t make freedom of speech illegal at the same time?

Jihaad_cpt4822d ago

right to privacy is dead so why not freedom of speech?

FatGayandbald4822d ago

Its about time, don`t say something to someone that you wouldn`t say in real life, people that make fun of dead girls being murdered only do it because they hide behind a computer. Great idea and also laws should be brought in to regulate mods, too many times they will be fanboys or help out they mates in mmos and ban others.

SilentNegotiator4822d ago

"laws should be brought in to regulate mods, too many times they will be fanboys or help out they mates in mmos and ban others"

....you're trolling, right? Because I already dialed 9-1-1.

FatGayandbald4822d ago

Wish i was funny like you :/

No im talking about what i mentioned,we have people logging on to forums or peoples facebook page giving abuse to the families n boasting about someones baby being killed and raped etc etc and they would never do it in public.

Cowards are people like you who got bullied at school and take your anger out on people hiding behind a comp because im pretty sure if you over heard me in public say what i said you wouldn`t come over to a stranger n say what u said knowing you would just be a weirdo n get a smack lol .

"Cowards are people like you who got bullied at school and take your anger out on people hiding behind a comp"

Like me? What did I do to piss you off so much? All I did was disagree with your statement that game moderators should be enforced by the law in a funny way. No need to make up the story of my life.

Blatantly wrongful terminations (that defy ToS) should be brought to higher authorities in the company or MAYBE brought to civil court. And even then, it seems silly for someone to have the "right" to not be banned from a game. There are already relevant laws to trade involving memberships and such....we don't need "Mod laws" or "Troll laws" for that matter.

@SilentNegotiatior

Based on his assumption of you being some kind of bullied nerd in school, he's probably one of those people that did the bullying. And after growing up and realizing that all those bullied nerds that were such "cowards" are now 10x more successful and smarter than he is, he's angry that life isn't fair for him anymore, because he can no longer bully those who are now signing his paychecks.

FatGayandbald is just angry and jealous that his life turned to crap, while those nerds turned out to be people that are of actual worth to society.

Stop being so jealous Mr FatGayandbald, just accept your crappy position in life. No need to be a sore loser :)

thereapersson4822d ago

Are you sure you didn't create your profile name to troll?

FatGayandbald4822d ago

Do you know what trolling is , FAIL when your the one trolling lol idiot

rmedtx4822d ago (Edited 4822d ago )

That sounds to me like limiting freedom of expression. I don't like when people troll but who's going draw the line? Who is going to decide what's trolling and what's not?

SilentNegotiator4822d ago

They've already arrested people for "causing" people to commit suicide, so the curvy, varying thickness, disjointed line has already been crossed.

C_Menz4822d ago

Sigh.....

What has the world come to, where people cannot take annoying/rude people's comments without being completely offended? Grow a pair and get over it.

That 12 year old calling "yo mama fat" shouldn't be that traumatizing enough for an anti-trolling bill. Aren't there much more important issues to solve?

rmedtx4822d ago

I totally agree with you.

chadwarden4822d ago

The only place trolling should be illegal is in Miami. Stupid miami heat fans.

Speed-Racer4822d ago

Aww come on, then that means I'd have to be a good boy.

BeastOrange4822d ago

Double whammy in AZ if your Mexican and a Troll.....
