If you're hoping for a PS Vita 2 or new PlayStation handheld there's some bad news. As support for Sony's Vita dwindles, so does hope for a successor.
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.
Acquire, famous for games like Tenchu and Octopath Traveler, becomes KADOKAWA subsidiary. Can this mean a revival for beloved series?
I would kill to have a Way of the Samurai game with a huge budget and modern tech... The first game was one of my greatest joys on PS2 back in the day. And I really hope From Software will do something with Tenchu... I hate that they're just sitting on the IP like it doesn't even exist.
Tenchu would be superb in this day and age. Ninja and samurai games are hot right now and more is better.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.
I never owned a Vita (same reasons I'll probably never own a Switch), I'm just not into handhelds. Don't get me wrong, I played my Gameboy and Pokemon all the time when I was like 13, but times changed..
That being said though, I've heard about Vita dying for like 3 years at least. How is that possible when I also see at least one or two games coming out for it all the time. It's weird to me.
Dang it
Still hilarious how Vita managed to outlive Wii U
I really wish there would be another Playstation handheld. The PS Vita was better than the PSP and I have to imagine the next system would have been perfect.
All the next system needed was L2, R2, L3 and R3 for better controls, then it would have been perfect. The touchscreen and touchpad just isn't the same, so bringing those controls to the next system it would need.
I also would have liked a built in hard drive with at minimum 16 gigs and it use normal memory cards, because if it does it would sell like crazy, unlike the PS Vita, which sold memory cards for an insane amount.
I just wish Sony would make a new system, because I'd gladly buy it and if they ever do I hope it allows for multiple users on the system, this way I can get trophies on it, plus my kids can too.
I was considering buying a handheld because I work so much. The vita has way more pros. Remote play better battery but best of all a vastly supine game line up. Go look at it they have a lot of awesome classic games and vita games. If always been hoping for an xbox handh3ld or just a portable 360 but that's not gonna happen so vita wins the day. I'm not a big fan of Nintendo's game and that's my preference but the main reason I won't buy a switch is just because of Nintendo's anti consumer policies.
