Mind-blowing video shows how all humans are basically fakes

Vsauce, the master answerer of life's toughest questions and professional blower of minds, tackles something so philosophical in his latest video that you'll start to wonder what in the hell our purpose is on this Earth. And if it's any different than a purpose of a rock. It starts with the discussion of art and then fakes and forgeries of art and what forgeries really mean and what it means to be original and eventually leads into a discussion on how we're pretty much all just forgeries too. What is real! Who is real! Nothing is. Damn. Sauce.

stealing a vsauce video for your own gain? that's low, bro.

Satish133701d ago

when you think about, they're really just advertising for VSauce, and i doubt with pay. Im pretty sure VSauce is ok with more people watching their videos.

I think he was playing on the fact that the video is about theft.

spicelicka3701d ago

technically everything is forged as the video says....we're all stolen:O

It also shows that we're pretty much a single being considering statistics and genetic difference, but apparently that's not more important than the "fake" assumption.

That's why Guns N Roses made use your illusion?

plmkoh3701d ago

Sure you can call everyone a copy/forgery whatever based on a microscope, but really it's not the molecules that make you 'you', it's the life time of memories that drive your logic, 'you'. It's for the same reason you call someone 'fake/phoney' etc if they act like some product of TV/media/trends etc, because they aren't being themselves and their logic/actions will follow someone else's instead.

How common is original thought? I mean how often do people think something never thought before? How often do we feel something never felt before? If we are what we think then I still see alot of copies.
