Here in the Philippines you can go to jail for 7 yrs with "online Libel" that was inserted at the last minute in our Cybercrime law so Social Media can't be used against the Government and their Oligarchs.
If you think this is about distractions then you are sadly mistaken, that reasoning fails in comparisons to the abuse they can do with this law.
Try to read and understand what they added in the law and research the other bills I just mentioned and think for a minute which law can actually help 95 million people whom more than half is under poverty.

They passed this law out of the blue. Our Reproductive Health bill got stalled because the Church deems the use of condoms and contraceptives evil, our Anti-Racism law got stalled because some people in the Government and especially the Church does not like LGBTs and our Freedom of Act law got stalled because they don't want to tell the people where the tax payers money go.

The only way to turn their TV business around is to unload a huge chunk of their manufacturing out of Japan, where labor and tax are cheaper. So they can be price competitive again.

You can blame mostly the Wii for that. They took the large number of casuals from Sony and prevented them from going to MS too. Don"t forget the PS2 was still selling during the PS3 lifecycle. Sony may lost some market share but its not what it actually seems.
You are right about the biggest market but in the whole scheme of things, even the smaller markets can be important.
